First, open Audacity and click on the Edit > Preferences option. Or, press the CTRL+P hotkey to quickly open preferences.

So, if the scenario is applicable, you can change the audio host to MME and check if it helps. Here’s how you can do that:

6] Update or Reinstall Audacity
