To the Leak Family. Choosing the right words of comfort are difficult, but know that these words of comfort are heartfelt. I can't understand how you feel, but your God, Jehovah does and will keep raising you up. He promises in His Words at 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, The Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our (your) trails......." He is the foremost example of empathy. To loose such a young one in death brings many questions and painful tears. Your Father of tender mercies has himself experienced the loss of many loved ones and He considers your loss as just as valuable and dear to him. Jehovah's tender empathy was perfectly expressed in the words and actions of his compassionate Son, Jesus, when he was on earth. (John 5:19) He was sent by his Father to comfort the broken-hearted and all who mourn. (Isaiah 61:1,2; Luke 4:17-21) Jesus showed his remarkable depth of insight and fellow feelings when he resurrected his friend, Lazarus. Even though he knew he was going to bring him back to life, he felt the painful sting of sorrow that overwhelms you at this very moment. He was so moved that a surge of strong empathetic feeling cut him to the heart and brought him to tears. (John 11:33-36) After a heartwarming prayer to his Father, he cried out to Lazarus, Come out! Lazarus was freed from the prison of death and returned to the loving arms of his sisters and friends. He is the same yesterday and today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Jesus said that do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out!......John 5:28-29. This is the hope that he has extended to Jammy. She will have the opportunity to live again, be happy, have vibrant health and never die again. You and your family can be confident that Jehovah and His Son, Christ, continues to be moved by the anguish of others, to understand your grief, and to provide you with consolation at the right time. (Hebrews 4:15-16) Do not hesitate to pour out your heart to him in prayer concerning your personal grief. Isn't it comforting to know that Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus understands your pain and provides the comfort you'll so sorely need! Remember this, "Jehovah God is close to the broken-hearted;he saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18-19) Please before the days become unbearable, take out your Bible and read the comforting scriptures sited above and experience Jehovah God's powerful arms of comfort around you and your loved ones! If you would like to know more about the marvellous future God has in store for you and your loved ones go to JW.org and you will be enlightened!
