LOUISVILLE 67, INDIANA WESLEYAN 4 42 The Wildcats opened up an early 15-8 lead on NCAA Division I Louisville before losing the exhibition game Saturday afternoon. Louisville answered with a 13-point run to take: command of the game and used another spurt in the second half to pull away. IWU had closed to within two points (23-21).

MEN'S SOCCER TAYLOR 4, GOSHEN 3 Forward David Trainer scored in the opening minute of both halves Saturday, and the Wildcats held off the visiting Maple Leafs in the opening round of the Mid-Central Conference tournament. Ross Tanzer also scored twice 1 in the 40th and 43rd minutes. Austin Bock, David Enger, Mitch Lobdell and Geoff Bowman were credited with assists. IWU (10-8-1) advances No. 6 Taylor upset third-seeded host Marian University in the first round of the Mid-Central College Conference tournament Saturday.

Coverstone, who is currently playing with the Wanneroo Wolves of the State Basketball League of Western Australia, led the MCC with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
