Substitutions, optional variations & dietary adjustments

Keep it vegan– Be sure to use vegan and dairy-free chocolate to ensure your snowman bark is vegan if you’re looking for that.

Make melted snowman chocolate bark– Use melted white chocolate or white candy melts and pour some of it over the top of the marshmallows to make it look like your snowmen are melting. Add a little coconut oil to make your chocolate melt more runny for an easy drizzle.

Reverse it with white chocolate– Instead of dark chocolate bark, make white chocolate snowman bark. Spread melted white chocolate as the circles, and use extra large chocolate chips for the body of the snowman.
